B2B + Admin Experience Platform Evolution

When UGO Solutions onboarded Cineplex to the B2B gift card platform, the experience needed to evolve — and fast. As Principal UX Designer, I reshaped the entire journey into a public-facing, “try-before-you-register” experience. This wasn’t just a UI update — it was a major shift in how businesses discovered, explored, and trusted the platform before committing to onboarding.

I introduced personalization and flexibility that Cineplex needed for their gifting program to feel premium: branded card themes, custom messaging, and multiple shipping options — transforming gift card ordering into something intentional, not transactional.

Behind the scenes, UGO Solutions rolled out a multi-tiered administration system that allowed a parent organization to manage billing and oversight while individual stores controlled their own inventory. Autonomy for the business units, visibility for leadership — operational harmony.

The platform continued to advance as I designed support for auto-delivery of inventory, promo-code-based campaigns, and data-code fulfillment — new capabilities built from the ground up to scale with enterprise needs. Cineplex didn’t just join the platform — their partnership helped unlock the next generation of digital gifting at UGO Solutions.
